About The Band

The infamous band that is “Jenga” started in 1996 in Boca Raton, Florida as a small jam band that emerged from a punk rock trio. Practicing out of a garage on sunny Sunday afternoons, the band grew rapidly by cultivating ideas from their vast influences in music. Such influences, ranging from bebop-style jazz and 70’s funk, to real roots reggae and old school punk rock, has given jenga a uniqueness that is all their own.

The members of the band are: Clint Denny (drums, vocals); Tom Pierro (guitars, vocals); Chuck Carney (bass, vocals); & Barry Belanger (guitars, vocals). In addition, there have been many exceptional musicians who have spent some time with jenga such as horn players, percussionists, and for the debut studio recording Ghetto Phabulous, a keyboard player by the name of Joe Tranior.

It hard to describe what genre Jenga falls into, so rather than give out false impressions, we recommend that you check the music for yourself. The proof is in the pudding. Although Jenga pushes music to transcend the limit and not necessarily force, but encourage folks to listen, the brothers of the band certainly do not offend the ear … but rather massage it with crazy intertwined power to affect.

Barry Belanger

Guitar / Vocals

From the second I “plugged in,” I could just feel the freedom. There are no boundries, no whining and no glaring looks due to choral choice. Purity and freedom in music is all succumbing. “Jenga” is pure and free.

Clint Denny

Drums / Vocals

Coming from a family of musical talents, singing and jamming led to the drums, a childhood passion. Listening, learning, and adapting to all styles of music has been the driving force behind the journey to excel as a musician.

Chuck Carney

Bass / Vocals

Tom Pierro

It’s like I’m in the fourth dimension and somebody’s asking me to describe it verbally, and that’s what the fourth dimension is all about. There’s no words, no symbols, no images, all pure real energy and vibrations. – J.F.
